Project Overview:
Project Lumen is an immersive web experience designed for a high-end architectural lighting firm. The goal was to translate the physical sensation of light and shadow into a digital environment, moving away from a standard catalog to a narrative-driven showcase.

The Challenge:
The client’s previous site was functional but lifeless. It treated their award-winning light fixtures as static objects in a database. The digital experience failed to capture the emotional impact of their lighting design, resulting in a disconnect between the premium product and the web presentation.

The Solution:
We built a WebGL-powered experience that utilizes a "Dark Mode" default interface to make the products pop. We implemented a custom scroll interaction where light sources on the screen react to the user's cursor movement, simulating the behavior of the physical fixtures. The typography was kept minimal and monochromatic to let the light be the hero.
The new site increased the average session duration by 150%. Architects and interior designers now use the site as a presentation tool during client meetings, effectively turning the website into a sales enablement asset.
