Project Overview:
Nova is a direct-to-consumer streetwear brand known for limited drops and exclusive collaborations. We designed and developed a headless e-commerce experience that merges high-fashion editorial aesthetics with a seamless, conversion-optimized checkout flow.




The Challenge:
Nova was scaling rapidly, but their template-based store was breaking under the pressure of high-traffic product drops. Visually, the site felt generic and didn't match the "hype" of their marketing campaigns on Instagram and TikTok. They needed a site that felt as unique as their clothing.


The Solution:
We moved them to a headless architecture using Shopify Plus and a custom React front-end. This allowed us to build unique micro-interactions, such as a "quick-view" modal that feels like flipping through a lookbook. We utilized large-scale typography and video backgrounds on product pages to create a mood, rather than just a transaction.

The new platform handled their largest "Black Friday" drop with zero downtime. Mobile conversion rates increased by 25% due to the optimized UX, and the site was featured on several design blogs for its innovative use of navigation.
